A solar charger harvests energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every available particle of energy from your panels is harvested for storage. The advantage of this technology is particularly appreciated when the sky is partly cloudy, and the intensity of the light is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control
Remotely control and supervise the multiple functions of your BlueSolar MPPT charger by connecting a Bluetooth dongle and associating it with your smartphone or any other device through VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) gives you access to the full power of your MPPT, anytime, anywhere: both services are free. For remote installations without an internet connection or telephone signal nearby, you may be able to monitor your MPPT by associating it via Bluetooth with a device equipped with LoRaWAN (long-range wide area network) technology, available as an option.

Output of the load
The intelligent charging output function avoids the risk of damage caused by the use of "depleted" batteries. You can configure the voltage at which the BlueSolar will disconnect a load if necessary thus preventing an excessive draw on your batteries. And here is the best part: BlueSolar will try to reach 100% recharge every day. If this is not possible, for example during periods of bad weather, it will increase the disconnection voltage, daily, until full recharge. We call this feature BatteryLife because it helps maintain your battery in good condition and extend its life.
