Designed for extreme conditions of use: large number and volume of water pockets, large surface sea anchor, inflation at -15°C, insulating double bottom, fluorescent orange tent with automatic inflatable arch, 4.3 cd exterior light, 1500 cm2 of radarisable and retro-reflective bands.
Max drop height 6 meters.
Buoyancy / person: 96 liters

The Transocean OSR raft is also equipped with a boarding ramp with interior handle to facilitate access on board the raft: this system allows the shipwrecked person to climb more easily into the raft after taking position on the ramp.

It meets the requirements of OSR (Ocean Racing Rules) categories 1&2, complies with OSR regulation 4.20.2 (d) i-iv, and ISO 9650-1A.

ISO 9650-1 rafts are classified into 2 groups (A or B) depending on the temperature conditions of the navigation area:
• Group A: rafts designed to inflate at a temperature between -15°C and +65°C; equipped with an insulating double bottom.
• Group B: rafts designed to inflate at a temperature between 0°C and +65°C; equipped with a simple bottom.

2 types of armament, depending on the time the castaway is likely to spend in his raft before being rescued:
• Fully armed: waiting for help estimated at more than 24 hours.
• Lightened arming: waiting for help estimated at less than 24 hours.
