A raft is COMPULSORY IN FRANCE FOR ANY NAVIGATION BEYOND 6 MILES FROM A SHELTER
The Plastimo Transocean raft meets the requirements of the "offshore" category defined by Division 240, in force since May 1, 2015.

Designed for extreme conditions of use: large number and volume of water pockets, large surface sea anchor, inflation at -15°C (group A), insulating double bottom, fluorescent orange tent with automatic inflatable arch, 4.3 exterior light cd, radarisable and retro-reflective bands.

The Transocean ISO 9650-1 raft is also equipped with a weighted reversible ladder and an inside handle to facilitate boarding: this system allows the castaway to easily tip into the raft after taking position on the ladder.

In the event of capsizing, the boarding ladder tilts and is positioned in such a way as to allow the castaway to climb back onto the upturned raft, thus facilitating his recovery.


Model (Type 1, Group A)

ISO 9650-1 rafts are classified into 2 groups (A or B) depending on the temperature conditions of the navigation area:
• Group A: rafts designed to inflate at a temperature between -15°C and +65°C; equipped with an insulating double bottom.
• Group B: rafts designed to inflate at a temperature between 0°C and +65°C; equipped with a simple bottom.

2 types of armament, depending on the time the castaway is likely to spend in his raft before being rescued:
• Fully armed: waiting for help estimated at more than 24 hours.
• Lightened arming: waiting for help estimated at less than 24 hours.
